Aren’t Cell Phones great? A super convenient invention, I am surprised no one thought of it earlier. Well, I’m sure the government had them way before us regular people. But that’s not a surprise they always have the high tech cool stuff first. Remember when beepers were the hot item? Now the hot items seem to change daily. How can anyone keep up with this stuff? However for the regular adult there are tons of free cell phones and costly cell phones as well. Cell phone carriers make phones for everyone’s taste. Cell phones come in all sorts of colors and even some really cool designed covers so you can express your personality even more. There are really expensive ones with navigation, email capabilities, and that are even voice activated. On the other hand there are cell phones that will still to the basic required functions. There are free cell phones as large as calculators and smaller than your hand. Personally I don’t want to be that accessible by everyone unless it’s for work purposes. The technology definitely comes in handy for companies. They can keep track of their employees and there are no excuses why you didn’t get an email. But I am sure with the easy access a lot of profitability has increased. Seriously though what did we do before cell phones? We actually used pay phones? It’s not a surprise however that I hardly ever see any pay phones on the street anymore, at least no new ones. It’s amazing that if I forget my cell phone at home I freak out but I am sure life will go one without it. It’s also amazing how much cell phone plans cost; especially for special packages like navigation or email access or even picture messages. And the blue tooth, that’s a neat little addition to the cell phone. Some cars even have capabilities to use your cell phone thru the car speakers, now that’s impressive. I think it’s a great idea so no one has to worry about holding the phone and driving. But that still doesn’t take your mind off of your conversation and being able to focus on the road, so be careful.
